Sitting down with the woman behind A Return to Love, a book that has held a cherished place on my altar, was nothing short of exhilarating. Marianne's profound insights and her remarkable journey have left an indelible mark on me.
Her presence has graced Oprah's stage multiple times over the past 30 years, a testament to the depth of her wisdom and the impact of her words.
During our conversation, the intensity with which Marianne pursues her beliefs was palpable. The intersection of spirituality, love, and activism in her life is a testament to the power of aligning one's principles with action.
I found her to be a very yang, with very yin agendas. This means, I found her to be focused, powerful, bold and formal. She has clearly defined plans and is a fighter. At the same she is pushing for yin policies such as health care for all, free education through college, food safety, a whole health plan, reperations, a department of peace, and an increase in support for children’s mental and physical health.
She is advocating on getting the US to move back to a government "Of, for and by the people," instead of "Of, for, and by the corporations."

In our conversation, Marianne reflected on the extreme challenges she encounters as a woman in the political arena. Very different than anything she has experienced in her very successful career leading up to this.

My hope is that when we are driven by a genuine commitment to love, understanding, and positive change, a more compassionate and harmonious world is possible.
I would be honored if you took a listen to this Threshold Moments episode. Share it with a friend if you find it interesting at all. Although it strays a bit from the normal vibe, I'm so glad I said yes to this opportunity.
With courage and curiosity,
